Nanyang Tech. University

Please provide your lab and description of research.
I am working under Prof. Chenyang Lu. We work on machine learning for healthcare, which uses multi-modal clinical data (from various sensors/sources and in various formats) to solve clinical decision making problems. The problems may include patients' characterization, disease prediction and treatment effect analysis, and the solutions include any kind of state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms.

What played into your decision to get a graduate engineering degree?
I am passionate for solving real-world problems and creating social impacts.
